Filmmuseum Potsdam

The Potsdam Film Museum is located in the royal stables next to the rebuilt city castle, today the seat of the Brandenburg state parliament in Potsdam's historical centre. The museum has belonged to the Babelsberg Film University  KONRAD WOLF since 2011. 

The permanent exhibition "Dream Factory. 100 years of film in Babelsberg on the history of the media location Babelsberg shows the process of filmmaking from the first idea to the premiere in an adventurous and entertaining way. The cinema has film series with international guests and silent movie screenings with live accompaniment at the Welte-Kinoorgel. The growing collections of the Babelsberg film history are a treasure trove for visitors and exhibition organisers.
