Hans Otto Theater

The Hans Otto Theater is Potsdam’s city theatre. Its venue on the shores of Tiefer See is a modern repertory stage featuring pieces from antiquity to modern classics as well as current international dramas, musical performances, guest performances, and readings. It has developed a fine reputation thanks to its strong ensemble and bold directors. Both venues, the Neues Theater am Tiefen See and the historic Reithalle, present a regular and wide-ranging programme of events. Numerous performances for young audiences round out the offerings of the Potsdam’s city theatre for children and the whole family. The theatre also co-produces the new opera staging that takes place year as part of the Potsdam Winter Opera.

The box office opens at performance venues one hour before curtain.
