The Bröhan Museum is an international specialist in the decorative arts in the Art Nouveau (Jugendstil), Art Deco and Functionalist styles. In addition to arts and crafts items, it also presents works of fine art, especially of the Berlin Secession. Furniture, porcelain and metalwork, vases, pictures, carpets, and sculptures are on display.

Collection priorities at the Bröhan Museum are works of French and Belgian Art Nouveau, German and Scandinavian Art Nouveau, and ensembles of French Art Deco. The museum has an extensive collection of porcelain by significant manufacturers and metal, glass, ceramics, silver, furniture, carpets, graphics, and pictures by important artists of these epochs. Several times a year there are special exhibitions on specific topics or artists.
