Boat Tours Potsdam (Potsdamer Wassertaxi)

Since 2007, the "Potsdam Water Taxi" is similar to a bus, but travels on the water in the city of Potsdam. The "Potsdam Water Taxi" is not just a single ship, but rather the name of the regular service on the Havel with a fixed timetable that is operated with two ships, "Water Taxi 1" and "Water Taxi 2". The ships can carry 60 people each and 20 bicycles.

The line connection through the "Potsdam Water Taxi" is an inexpensive and time-saving alternative to traveling through the state capital. Tickets are easily validated on board when entering. If you would like to travel on one, make sure you are visible to the skipper on or in front of the jetty at the time of departure. The stops are marked by a sign.

The line network has 13 landing points which connect the two sides of the Havel together and make countless, interesting and adventurous routes. Since the ships carry bicycles, there are many excursion options for walkers and cyclists. And where the opposite shore could only be reached by kilometre-long detours, the tour can now be continued wonderfully after riding by water taxi.
