Barberini Museum

The Barberini Museum features changing exhibitions from the art collection of founder and patron Hasso Plattner. The themes of the exhibitions range from the old masters to contemporary art. One focus is on Impressionism.

The eponymous Palais Barberini offers space for art: In the historic town centre of Potsdam, the palace was rebuilt in close proximity to City Palace. The courtyard of the building opens onto the “Alter Fahrt” with access to the Havel terraces and a view of the opposite parkland of the “Freundschaftsinsel”.

The Barberini Museum boasts regular public offerings. Groups as well as nursery schools and school classes can choose from bookable guided tours and workshops. The Barberini Guide accompanies you through the exhibitions as a downloadable app or on loan equipment. There is a special audio guide for children.
