Especially designed for everyone who already has a ticket for Berlin’s public transport network, the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition offers attractive variations of the popular Berlin WelcomeCard. Available in the summer months from June-August 2022, the Summer Editions give you attractive savings from 25% to 50% at over 180 attractions in Berlin and Potsdam. The Summer Editions do not include a travel option for Berlin’s public transport.

What variations of the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition are there?

The following Summer Editions are available:

• Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition is valid for 72 hours, costs € 9 and gives you attractive savings of between 25% and 50% at over 180 partners in Berlin and Potsdam.
• The Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition including the Museum Island is valid for 72 hours, costs € 25 and gives you attractive savings at over 180 partners in Berlin and Potsdam as well as free admission once a day to all the Museum Island museums.

The Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive is also still available without the travel option from € 69 and includes free entry to over 30 top Berlin attractions such as the TV Tower, other sights and museums, as well as city tours and a boat tour.

How does the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition work?

Once you have successfully booked your Summer Edition, you will receive your ticket by email. Tickets accepted either when shown on a mobile device or as a printed ticket and always show it to the Summer Edition partners before using the discounted services. 
The ticket is valid for one named adult (15 years old and over). During the booking process, you have to select the date and time when the ticket is valid, and this is also shown on the ticket.

How does the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition including the Museum Island work?

This variation is also valid for 72 hours. Along with attractive savings at over 180 partners in Berlin and Potsdam, this also gives you free admission to the five museums on the city’s famous Museum Island. With this ticket, you can visit each of these five museums once a day on three consecutive days.

Bear in mind you will need to book a time slot ticket for the following Museum Island museums: Pergamon Museum, Neues Museum (New Museum), Alte Nationalgalerie (Old National Gallery). Book your time slot tickets here.

Please note: When booking your time slot ticket, select the free “time slot reservation for Berlin Welcome Card Museumsinsel/all inclusive”.

You must always show the ticket to the Summer Edition partners before using the discounted services.

How does the Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive without travel work?

Your Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive ticket gives you free admission or free use of Berlin’s most popular attractions. Print out the ticket on A4 paper and show it to the all inclusive partners so they can scan it in. The Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive is only valid for the named holder with a valid ID. The partners need to scan in the bar code on the ticket to provide the services included. You can only use each of the offers once during the period your card is valid. The ticket is valid from the date and time given on the ticket.

What do I need to know about the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Editions? 

The Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition and the Berlin WelcomeCard Summer Edition including the Museum Island are e-tickets accepted either when shown on a mobile device or as a printed ticket. 
The ticket is only valid for the person named on the ticket. During the selected period of validity, the ticket entitles the named holder to claim for one time use the discount offered at each participating service or attraction.

Both variations of the Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition are valid for 72 hours from the time stated on the ticket. When booking the ticket, you have to select an arrival date and a time when the ticket becomes valid. 

How can I benefit from the discounts on offer?

The Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition and Berlin WelcomeCard - Summer Edition including the Museum Island must be shown to each discount partner before claiming the discounted services. No, none of the Berlin WelcomeCard Summer Editions include the use of Berlin’s public transport network.

I have already bought a Berlin WelcomeCard with public transport for the period June-August. Is the card and travel option still valid?

Yes, the services included in all the variations of the Berlin WelcomeCard remain valid. You can use the public transport ticket and all the discounts as stated.

I haven’t received an email with my ticket – what should I do?

Can I cancel or exchange the ticket?

Booked tickets cannot be cancelled. The ticket cannot be exchanged / rebooked for a different day of validity. All the details are listed in our General Terms and Conditions.
