Easter 2018

Conditions of participation in the „Berlin WelcomeCard Easter 2018“  competition of Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH (visitBerlin), subsequent called “organizer” or „visitBerlin“.

Participation is only possible subject to these Conditions.

The participant must be at least 18 years of age to take part in the competition.

All natural persons of legal age who buy a Berlin WelcomeCard or a Berlin WelcomeCard all inclusive at the Berlin Tourist Information Office at Berlin Central Station on 29 or 30 March 2018 are eligible. Each lot is guaranteed to win one of many different instant prizes (worth between €1 and €20).  These are exclusively non-cash prizes. The prize value will not be paid out in cash. Prizes may not be exchanged.

Prizes provided by cooperation partners or prize sponsors are not being offered by visitBerlin in its own name, but solely on behalf of the prize sponsors. Any claims for possible material and/or legal defects in the prizes donated by the prize sponsors may only be asserted against the latter. The organiser is liable, only for damages related to this contest which it, its employees, or agents have caused with intent or through gross negligence. In addition, visitBerlin assumes liability for slightly negligent conduct only to the extent essential contractual obligations have been breached and only to the extent of such damage typically foreseeable in such contests. This liability waiver does not apply to damage to absolutely protected legal interests such as life, body and/or health.

The organiser reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the contest without notice due to unforeseen circumstances relating to the prize components. The contest will be terminated if there are flaws in the software or hardware and/or other technical or legal reasons which would affect the regular and orderly conduct of the contest or otherwise render it impossible.

Legal recourse is expressly excluded.
