After a relaxing lunch in the chic Hackesche Höfe , stroll down the magnificent “Unter den Linden” boulevard to Gendarmenmarkt , one of the city’s most beautiful squares.
Afterwards, visit the Brandenburg Gate and view the impressive architecture of the Reichstag Parliament building . Then head past the Chancellery for Tiergarten Park and the Siegessäule (Victory Colum) . Or visit the impressive Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe just the other side of Brandenburg Gate. From here, modern Potsdamer Platz with buildings by top international architects is just a short walk.
In the evening, relax with the best in Las Vegas-style entertainment at Friedrichstadt-Palast – but before you do, enjoy the cosy atmosphere and hearty German cuisine at the nearby Berliner Kartoffelkeller . Many of the key sights can also be viewed on a city tour (e.g. with Berlin City Circle Sightseeing) or on a river cruise (e.g with Stern und Kreisschiffahrt boats).
